Diamond is an unincorporated area that sits just a few miles on the outskirts of the St. George, Utah city limits.
Along State Route 18, just past the entrance to Snow Canyon State Park, the unincorporated community of Diamond Valley is home to an increasing number of residents and continues to grow with new development each year.
However, the population density continues to be very low with only about 1,000 residents per 11,000 acres of land.
Because Diamond Valley sits so closely to Snow Canyon State Park residents and area visitors get to experience the majestic scenic views of the red rock and white Navajo sandstone in the red mountains.
Even though the small unincorporated area does not have much commercial development yet, it is close enough in proximity to St. George that amenities are easily found for area visitors.
