Sand Hollow State Park offers boating, fishing, swimming and diving at the Sand Hollow reservoir. Area visitors can also explore the dunes of Sand Mountain with off highway-vehicle access.
Sand Hollow is also a great place to park an RV or tent camp in the Sand Hollow established Campground or on the beach.
Sand Hollow sits conveniently between Washington City and Hurricane City. Amenities like lodging, eateries, restaurants, shopping and more can be found within minutes.
In addition to the state park, Sand Hollow also has a resort with a golf course and a variety of luxurious lodging options. The Sand Hollow Golf Course is continually ranked as one of the best golf courses in all of Utah.
Sand Hollow isn't far from other Southern Utah treasures like Zion National Park. Sand Hollow maintains the same mild climate as most of Washington County with sunny days primarily throughout the year. However temperatures do rise in the summer months to frequently over 100 degrees.
