For more than 15 years, the Sunbrook golf club has captivated and delighted. As the crown jewel of the St. George owned courses, it is the only facility with 27-holes in southwestern Utah. Meandering through the foothills on the west side of the city, this course offers tremendous views of the surrounding landscape. Sunbrook features an award winning design by Ted Robinson, and has accomplished a rare feat for a municipal course, receiving a four and a half star rating from Golf Digest, due to its beautiful scenery, unique design, challenging fairways, and quality service.
Each set of nine at Sunbrook is named for a landmark or feature on one of the course holes -The Point, The Woodbridge, and the Black Rock. Favoritism among them seems to be shared equally, as they all offer something unique in terms of strategically placed water hazards, treacherous lava rocks, varied elevations, and aesthetically pleasing sites. The Point and the Woodbridge played together consist of a par 72 course across 6,818 yards of well manicured greens and fairways, with a rating of 73.0 and a slope of 129. Although this challenge is tailored for those with moderate to advanced skill levels, it can be appreciated by almost anyone.
